Overlanding & Adventure Travel Advice
Travel advice for road trips, overland adventures, and family journeys shaped by real experience on the road.
Don’t settle for the ordinary,
Travel advice that works in real life
Planning a great trip is about more than picking beautiful places on a map. It is about understanding distance, rhythm, family energy, road conditions, border crossings, camp styles, and the many practical details that shape how a journey actually feels once you are out there.
Through Little Big Paradise, we help people plan road trips and overland journeys with a more grounded perspective. From scenic routes and hidden camp spots to practical logistics and realistic pacing, our advice is shaped by the kind of travel we live ourselves.
What we can help with
Route ideas and trip structure.
Scenic roads, hidden gems, and memorable stopovers.
Family-friendly pacing and practical day-to-day rhythm.
Camp style, overnight flow, and road trip comfort.
Broader overland planning questions that affect the journey as a whole.
A practical approach to adventure
We believe a trip should feel exciting, but also workable. The best journeys are not only inspiring on paper, they are balanced in real life — with the right pace, the right kind of stops, and enough breathing room to actually enjoy the road.
That is why our travel planning advice is not built around generic itineraries. It is shaped around your setup, your travel style, your family rhythm, and the kind of experience you want to create.
Family Travel, Evolving Setups
Our travel planning perspective comes from years of adapting vehicles through different family stages and trip needs. We started with the Land Rover Discovery for two-person adventures, added the Volkswagen Multivan for its cargo space and baby practicality, then built the Defender as pure 4×4 capability. For longer overland periods, the Airstream now pairs with it for full living comfort.
Each taught us something specific: the Discovery’s versatility, how the VW’s storage made family trips workable, the Defender’s terrain freedom, and how trailers reshape routes, camps, and pacing. That progression — couple → family → serious overland — shapes every piece of advice we give.

Why travel advice
Sometimes you do not need a full itinerary. You just need the right conversation with people who have already lived parts of the journey you are planning. Our travel advice helps bring clarity to routes, rhythm, logistics, and the many small decisions that shape the bigger adventure.
More life with less
What you’ll get
Our blog can give you plenty of inspiration, but some trips need a more personal kind of support. Our travel advice is there for the questions that are specific to your own journey — the ones that do not fit neatly into a general guide.
It gives you a chance to talk things through, get honest feedback, and leave with more clarity before you go.
How this works
Our travel advice is designed for people who want clearer direction, practical insight, and a more personal starting point for their next trip. In a 45-minute voice or video call, we talk through your plans, ideas, questions, and uncertainties — and help shape them into something more realistic, inspiring, and workable.
One session is 70 EUR or 75 USD.
It includes:
A 45-minute voice or video call.
Personal advice based on our own road trips, overland experience, and family travel lifestyle.
Input on route ideas, pacing, camp rhythm, and travel style.
Recommendations for hidden gems, stopovers, and overnight ideas.
Space to ask questions about logistics, borders, gear, or setup.
Follow-up clarity so you leave with more direction and confidence.
